The tissue is soft to use and surprisingly strong, it doesn't tear that easily. Although it's small than normal tissue, it still does the job and makes you realise you don't need to use so much tissue. I'm impressed!

This toilet roll takes a bit of getting used to as it feels a bit like kitchen roll. It's not as soft as some other planet friendly loo rolls I have used however, they broke up badly during use which is not ideal. Uranus Wiper does stay intact during use. It is quite often out of stock when I want to order so I also have to use other loo rolls & I wish it was made/transported in this country as then it would tick all of my boxes.

I have bought several times. This time I bought two boxes . The paper is excellent quality . I even reused the packet it comes in . No plastic just paper and string. The loo roll middles are used to light my log fire.
Unfortunately now delivery is by Amazon there is excessive packing. A second box and lots of paper. Quite unnecessary as they are already in a strong box. I understand however that this problem is to be sorted. Sooner you can the better . I’m having to make a trip to the dump with the huge Amazon boxes.

Great product, previously bought from a third party. This time it was delivered by Amazon and the usual lovely box was for some reason inside an even bigger Amazon box surrounded by loads of paper. Only just got it through the door. Keep up the great work on the product but please perhaps reconsider your delivery method?

Your frequency range needs to be increased. I still had 2 whole bags of 9 rolls but your system does not allow for "low users" ie I have to remember to change the delivery date and if as last time I receive no reminder I end up having no space for the order because it was not needed then! Also buttcoins disappear!!

It's OK and I might buy again - but the rolls seem small both in width (less than other brands) and the cardboard central roll is bigger than usual hence I assume fewer sheets per roll.

It all started whilst chatting to the housing authority’s drain un-blocker man as we stood outside hosing my backed up nuggets down the drain as they seemed intent on hanging around in the sewer pipe. It was the 5th time he’d been out that month. Why did it keep happening? we asked ourselves. As the man was leaving he casually asked what tissue I was using. ‘Any recycled stuff’ I answered. ‘That’s the cause’ he said. ‘Recycled just doesn’t break down in water’ ‘OK I’m on it’ I said.
After a bit of Googling I found UW - listed as the best for flushing in spite of being recyclable so I purchased, I wiped and I converted. Now I am intent on my housing authority saving their miles of drains. I have given away packs of 9 to literally everyone I know - there seems to be another pandemic in the drains. I find it awkward to say, but I love UW.

Why is the inner tube so wide?! Why not put more paper on the roll? Even being vigilant with how much is used one roll lasts not even a week. I'd rather have more loo roll on the roll than such fancy thick printed paper and string packaging. I can't wipe my bum with that!

I've been looking for a reasonably priced, plastic-free, recycled toilet paper for a while and I'm so happy I finally found one! It is actually softer than pur previous brand of toilet paper and it's great that it's not bleached as well, so it's even better for the planet!
A word of warning: the box causes lots of giggles from delivery drivers thanks to the logo and company motto plastered on the side. I love the dash of humour that comes with this product!

Great quality and thickness compared to other eco brands, everything is recyclable. I even save the twine/string to wrap up presents with! I ordered the largest amount I could as it's handy not to have to buy some every week. I will keep ordering, I'm now converted.

Really great product - comfortable but highly dissolvable. The customer service is not great though. My order was 3 weeks delayed with no contact except a repetitive email telling me it had been delayed but no info about why or when it would actually be delivered. Nearly cancelled subscription. So when the loo roll does come, it is great. Need to up game on communications though.

It certainly does as it says it will, it sits on my holder and when I need it it is there. It's surprisingly softer than I expected, but that is a good thing! For someone who has to follow a strict diet due to my body being unable to handle gluten, I was dubious about changing as I didn't want something that would fall apart in my hands when that diet failed me. But I'm very pleased to say that after having an issue last week, your paper actually held up better than previous toilet papers! This is definitely a change I'll be keeping to! Thank you!

Great to find a toilet paper without all of the nasties used in most products. However, my is experience is different to some reviews. Despite 'dabbing', as recommended by my gynecologist, I found the paper breaks up on 'contact', leaving large amounts of paper debris (which subsequently needs to be removed!).
I experience a number of problems due to a premature menopause and regret I found this product made matters worse.

The roll is bit narrower than regular paper, so i feel i waste less paper. It is very strong but soft and indeed nice in use. It is recycled and arrives plastic free indeed. It supports small business, and not Amazon or Tesco.
We can afford to pay bit extra for the benefits above, so stocked up after first satisfactory trial. If price is only thing that matters for you, cheaper bulk buys will do the job.

We’ve been making lots of ecoswaps and I’d love to work towards a plastic-free bathroom but I’ve been a bit nervous about changing our toilet roll; I feel like it’s something I don’t want to compromise on! I gave this one from @uranuswiper a go as I had a voucher for £5 off, so we got 18 rolls (no smaller trial packs in stock!)
Things that l appreciate (aside from the great name) are that the packaging is plastic free and compostable, it’s made from waste paper, and unlike other similar brands it’s made in the EU so not flown ✈️ halfway across the world, and the rolls aren’t packed individually in paper. Plus I like that the company donate money to support the Anal Cancer Foundation.
It’s not *quite* as durable as our usual Andrex but it does what you want it to do and it’s not scratchy or horrible on the bum
For those interested in the “bottom” line (), with the £5 coupon but including delivery a pack of 18 rolls costs about 1p per 100 sheets more than our usual Andrex, so that’s pretty good.

The only thing that doesn't earn this paper top marks in my opinion is the fact that rolls are smaller than average. The paper is quite thick so there is less per roll than most other toilet papers I have bought.
However, the recycled nature of the product, itsprovenance and the paper and string packaging are all good points that make me buy it.

A little bit narrower than I have been used to but then I realised that it works just fine, loo roll doesn't need to be that wide. Feels just like any other loo roll, maybe not like premium quilted brands but absolutely fine. Soft enough, strong enough and long enough....enough of all the things you need a loo roll to have.

Pleasantly surprised at the softness, and thickness of this loo roll. I am used to sacrificing comfort for morals, and don't get me wrong, whe on you open it , it LOOKS like recycled toilet roll. You know, slightly off white, looks a bit rough. But actually, it's very soft. It's slightly narrower than average toilet roll, which I really like as there is less surface area to waste. And really, I'm actually using less squares of it pre wipe because it does the job really well. So a win all round.

To sum up your product in one word ....Brilliant!
Strong, easily soft enough, pretty pattern and nice to the planet. And our toilet is still functioning (not that we ever had issues from other products before). That's really all there is to say. I did a fair bit research ... (reading other people's research) and scary reviews, and I almost gave up hope (but not really), on the quest for sustainable, no bog blocking toilet paper! Ta da! Uranus comes to the rescue.
If you read the negative reviews of other products in the market Uranus toilet roll appears to be addressing all those problems.

Just one small comment ... the product name, I feel it detracts from what is a brillant product. Unfortunately the word Anus for the UK market (for me anyway) just goes that extra step too far. When I think to share the product name with others it doesn't have as good a feeling as I would like... Of course it wouldn't stop me from sharing, i'd just like it to be softer, funnier like the rest of your brilliant packaging.
The other toilet paper 'who gives a crap' hit the mark almost for me because it's a word that has several meanings, but god if you could find one better something to make kids laugh in the supermarket and at home.
I don't mean to course any negative thoughts or feeling from this last comment. It's just a thought.

It's thick and soft. I love the name and I like it being from recycled paper. It still seems bleached though. Is that necessary? I don't really care what colour it comes out. It's quite expensive compared to other brands. Aldi - double length rolls (not recycled) and Who gives a craps (made from bamboo) are cheaper. Uranus wiper is thicker and perhaps fewer sheets will be used but I suspect this requires people to change their toilet habits! The bamboo stuff is sturdy and the rolls are heavy because it's tightly wound and long. Is using virgin bamboo better than recycled paper? I suspect not. One use of vegetative carbon vs two is probably better though before it all ends up on farmland.

First thing I liked was the paper wrapping and string handles. On opening, the rolls certainly are narrower than I’m used to, having said that I notice many other brands are doing the same. Roll in not huge, I’d prefer more sheets on the roll.
It doesn’t feel particularly soft to touch, having quite a hard texture but... it doesn’t break up and fall apart when in use so that’s good.
I’d like to see it in shops so I can just pick it up when needed and yes I’d be happy to use it all the time.

I've been on a plasic free loo roll mission for some time. After trawling through the interverse I came upon Uranus toilet paper. Drawn in by their packaging - plasic free, not individually wrapped! The loo roll is wonderfully quilted, soft, lasts ages and is cheaper than most supermarket bought brands!! No going back for this happy customer!
